Romance/Suspense. An advertising worker in a jewelry company, Meg Kent, decides to develop her art skills while on a summer vacation to Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. Meg accepts the hospitality of a Mrs. Elvira Wilson and arrives at Wilson Manor with har saving tucked into her purse and her car full of painting supplies. Darkly handsome Steve Livingston, a painter of advanced skills offers to give Meg painting lessons. Then Meg discovers a sinister crime; the possible murder of a cove artist. Local residents are strangely unwilling to talk about the death.
