Life has been difficult for Mandy Walker. There are questions around her father’s unexpected death, and she may have no choice but to close the doors of the family’s veterinary business indefinitely.
Tony Trowbridge arrives in town with not only a secret, but the expertise and experience required to help Mandy keep her father’s business open. The only problem? He and Mandy used to be a couple, and in order to move forward, they’ll have to put the past behind them.
Reaching an agreement, the pair plan to keep their distance and think everything will work out fine. But when both the past and the present collide, can the pair work together and keep long-held feelings at bay? And has the danger passed or was Mandy’s father killed as an act of revenge?
