Michael McDonald, Post-apocalyptic author of the INDIANA FALL books, has a new story in the October Fall World.

BOSTON FALL!

The story of a father and son, two thousand miles from home, trapped in an EMP nightmare!

Leonard Haakensen and his teenage son, Mel, fly to Boston from Denver for a day of work before a planned week of fun, bike trekking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. When an EMP attack cripples the United States, Leonard, a self-employed entrepreneur and part-time prepper, immediately understands the danger and fights to get himself and his son out of the Boston metro area before chaos descends. With no other viable options, he and Mel decide to bike the two thousand miles home to Colorado. It will prove to be a race against nature as winter is nearly upon them.

Back in Lakewood, Leonard's wife, Jessica, prepares to flee the Denver area. At the same time, Franny, Mel’s best friend in high school, finds herself all alone when her mother and father fail to make it home from a business trip.

Boston Fall is the story of four ordinary Americans trying to survive a national disaster only to face an uncertain future together.

This is a family-friendly Post-apocalyptic story with a thread of faith and trust in God woven into the storyline. There are no scenes to make you blush and no language to offend. Due to the genre, there are some depictions of graphic violence.
