One Frost-Kissed Winter
(2026)(The fifth book in the Snowbound Winter series)
A novel by Angela J Ford
She stole a wish. The forest demands payment. Its guardian demands her.
On the shortest night of the year, Ophelia braves the forbidden forest for one thing: a wish from the enchanted pear tree to heal her dying sister.
But the moment Ophelia takes the pear, the forest wakes—and so does the tree’s immortal guardian, Athulien. When the forest marks her as payment for her wish, Athulien has no choice but to keep her within his castle walls until the curse is broken.
There, Ophelia discovers that the magic of the forest is far older—and far stranger—than the fables ever suggested.
To uncover what the forest wants from her, Ophelia must follow a trail of riddles and complete tasks to break the curse and fulfill her debt.
Along the way, she discovers that Athulien—the immortal guardian who has spent centuries protecting the forest—is not quite the cold, distant creature she first believed him to be.
And the more time she spends in his enchanted world, the more she begins to wonder whether the greatest mystery isn't what the forest wants from her...
but why it brought her here at all.
Inspired by the magic of The Twelve Days of Christmas, One Frost-Kissed Winter is a standalone holiday fantasy romance featuring an enchanted pear tree, an icy immortal guardian, magical trials, and a love that melts even the coldest heart.
One Frost-Kissed Winter is part of A Snowbound Winter, a multi-author collection of cozy winter romances where couples are snowed in together. Each book is a standalone and can be read in any order.
Genre: Paranormal Romance
