Don't Feed After Midnight
(2026)(The second book in the Dusk Warden Codex series)
A novel by Ava L Bishop and Auburn Tempest
Welcome to the Storage Wars... where the cursed inventory is the least of your worries.
I’m used to working the night shift, so becoming a Dusk Warden was supposed to be manageable. I’d deal with the occasional creepy crawler, keep the balance, and try not to die on a weeknight.
And, oh yeah, pretend I know what I’m doing.
Except now someone has stolen something they really shouldn’t have and the ancient spirit that protects the river is furious enough to drown the whole city if I don’t get it back.At the same time, an annoyingly persistent sorcerer is stalking the cursed cuff fused to my wrist and is drawing too much attention to me in supernatural circles.
Apparently, ugly magical jewelry is a hot commodity.
Too bad I’m the only one who doesn’t want it.
Between an angry river spirit, power-hungry mages, monsters slipping out of the shadows, and Malyk watching me like betrayal is inevitable, things are getting messy.
Thank goodness I’ve got my ride-or-die besties backing me up. Because if the three of us can’t stop this supernatural meltdown soon, Oshawa won’t just be facing a flooding problem.
It’ll have a problem too big for one reluctant Dusk Warden to handle.
Grab your copy of Don’t Feed After Midnight, and cheer on Zo, her besties, and the broody deathless man who really doesn’t appreciate being leashed.
Genre: Urban Fantasy
