Blue Mountain Range

When the saddle of a notorious outlaw turned up in his town, Sheriff Bert Stanton became interested. What he discovered was a scattering of human bones, and from there he went on to find out that the dead man had been Charley Denton who had shortly before his death robbed a bank down in Arizona. But there was no money where Sheriff Stanton found the outlaw's remains. It took some sleuthing, but Bert Stanton solved the killing, brought in two corpses before he was finished and was nearly made into a corpse himself in the process.
