Kate Walker is at it again. Only this time, it's personal.
While enjoying the summer off, Kate is devastated when she learns that her father has died of a heart attack. Looking to put the past in the rearview, Kate heads to college in North Carolina, where she plans to study Parapsychology. There, she meets new friends, excels in her studies, and joins a sorority. Everything, it seems, is falling into place. But when a letter written by her father a week before he died, arrives in the mail, Kate is once again pulled into a mystery.
Convinced her father was murdered, Kate sets out to find his killer. With the help of some old friends, and perhaps one or two new ones, Kate will stop at nothing to find the person responsible for upending her world.
