Five short stories originally published 1988-1990: 'The Man at the Door,' 'Geisha', 'Two Friends', 'Girl from Mars' and 'Rusty Blades'.

Chad Taylor is the author of the novels 'Pack of Lies', 'Heaven', 'Shirker', 'Electric' and 'Departure Lounge' and the short story collection 'The Man Who Wasn't Feeling Himself'. He was a Buddle Findlay Sargeson Fellow in 2001 and the Auckland University Literary Fellow in 2003. Heaven was made into a feature film by Miramax, and his novels and short stories have been translated into several languages. His most recent novel is 'The Church of John Coltrane'.
