In the thriller On Thin Ice, an Indigenous couple makes their way to an isolated cottage after their car falls through an ice road. Suffering from hypothermia, they are saved by the arrival of the non-Indigenous cottage owners, one of whom is a nurse. Once the injured couple are resuscitated, the cottage owners discover that the ‘accident’ was not necessarily accidental, and the histories and alternative agendas at play converge in a shocking and brutal ending.
