Mark and Gina Baxter are two second-year public high school teachers who are down on their luck. When they win an all-expenses-paid night of gambling at the Venetian Springs Casino & Resort, they believe that a windfall might be headed their way.


Then the Baxters learn that there’s no such thing as free money, and they find themselves in debt to the casino—a debt they cannot pay.

In their most desperate moment, they cross paths with another couple, who are on the run from a murderous drug lord of the Sinaloa Cartel.


The criminal couple makes the Baxters’ an offer they can’t refuse. Their backs against the wall, the Baxters decide to go for broke. But they may lose their lives in their desperate bid to get out of debt.
