Before there was email, texting or Facebook, there was always romance!

"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" LARA CRIED. Tom felt a fierce rush of arousal at the sight of her looking so vulnerable, so utterly enticing. But he masked his desire with a narrowed gaze.
"How about some honesty for a start?"
"What do you mean?"
"I did a little checking up on Lara Blakely."
"How dare you - "
"The bit about Seattle checks out," he continued. "You arrived there four months ago, took a job. The thing is, it's as if this Lara Blakely appeared in Seattle out of nowhere."
When she tried to pull away from him, Tom caught hold of her arm and gripped it tightly.
"I did some further checking into your past, to try to get something on your supposed family in Chicago. And guess what I found out? They don't exist." He paused cruelly. "Just who are you, Lara?"
