The War to End All Wars was fought in 1914-19. Over 38 million died. In 1939 and until August of 1945, the world was again in a war that claimed the lives of over 60 million. In 1949, the CCP began a 100-year plan. They planned to be the world's only superpower by 2049. In 2029, the then-President of the PRC and the Chairman of the CCP, Xi Jinping, along with the MSS and the PLA, decided they were facing a unique opportunity. America had elected a very liberal President who was much friendlier with the PRC, one who opposed the high tariffs and saber-rattling of the previous administration.

Every plan changes when the enemy is met on the field of battle. Because no matter how good the plan was, the enemy always gets a vote. The PLA was able to open the war against America with an attack that unfortunately killed the new President and his VP, thus allowing the Speaker of the House to become President. The PLA's plan was to poison the Speaker, he didn't drink much of his deadly coffee so he lived to become the new President.

The PRC's war to destroy America's Seventh Fleet was successful. The American Navy suffered its worst defeat since December 7, 1941. They also attempted to strike America's major military bases. This part of the attack failed to knock most of the bases out of the war.

The PLA, like the Japanese in 1941, made the mistake of starting the war before a declaration of war was delivered to the State Department. America responded by dropping four teams of Special Forces soldiers into the PRC. They started a massive firestorm that destroyed millions of acres.

The PLA then targeted America's Hoover Dam; their missiles were shot down. America responded by destroying both of the PRC's massive dams, flooding additional acres.

The fires and flooding destroyed more than 75% of the PRC's farms. Every convoy that carried food and oil to the PRC came under attack from America's attack submarines. They were fighting an updated war against the PRC, not too different from how they fought Japan.

This left millions in the PRC hungry. Food was rationed, and everyone went to bed hungry.
The hungry and those who'd lost their farms due to the fires or floods from the destroyed dams flooded into the cities, which couldn't feed their citizens.

As the PLA attempted to change its plans, America fought back. The mysterious and very secret space plane, the X-37 was armed and dropped solid rods on factories and infrastructure. Most of the PRC was dark from EMP weapons.

As the war dragged on, the PRC learned that America was turning the tables on them and gaining the upper hand.
