In "We're Not Alone," a seismic event in the depths of the Philippine Trench triggers the activation of a mysterious artifact. Little do we know, this cataclysmic event will unveil the truth about our place in the universe. The quake releases a trapped alien ship that had been trapped for over a thousand years. Their technology is hundreds/thousands of years ahead of ours. Any ship or plane we send to investigate is destroyed by purple energy beams that originate from the moon. The aliens bases on the moon destroy every probe sent to gather data on them. The aliens manage to 'phone home' which is answered when a wormhole is opened and a small object enters our solar system. This small object manages to help the trapped ship break free.
The USN sends the
USS Seawolf to investigate, and the alien's AI manages to take control of the Seawolf. The President and his National Security team are focused on the Pacific when the wormhole opens and a massive ship enters and takes hides behind the moon. The aliens are focused on taking control of the internet, so they can control everything the people see and read. America attempts to build a combined force composed of the militaries of Russia, China, Israel, and America to defend Earth.
