Brenna and Brady are two normal kids growing up in the suburbs with phones and video games. They love visiting their grandparents in Pennsylvania, where they play in the woods. But when Sandy, a neighborhood friend, tells them about the Monroeville Monster, the siblings decide to conquer their fears and take a picture of the elusive creature. Brenna and Brady set off on a frightening quest in a mysterious forest where not everything is as it seems.
