Oracle of the Silent City
(2027)(A book in the Threads of the Lost Myth series)
A novel by Janyre Tromp
A basement prison.
A city ruled by ancient shadows.
And a family hunted by Jimmy Hoffa’s mafia.
Detroit, 1962.
When ER nurse Georgia Owens vanishes on her way to work, it’s just another disappearance in a city that knows how to forget. But Georgia wasn’t supposed to disappear.
The underworld thinks she saw something. Something powerful enough to be buried.
As her family searches for answers, they’re pulled into a web of corruption stretching from hospital corridors to the highest levels of power—where police protect the wrong men, reporters trade truth for access, and looking the other way is the price of survival.
Because this city doesn’t just hide its secrets. It makes bargains to keep them buried. Yet something is breaking through.
A warning no one heeds. Flames no one can contain.
And as the city fights to outlive its worst hour, the line between the Greek myths and reality begins to fracture, forcing one question to the surface:
What will it cost to expose the truth?
Oracle of the Silent City is a myth-infused historical thriller of silence and fire, perfect for fans of The Godfather and the haunting suspense of Simone St. James.
Genre: Fantasy
