I make a living writing books with lots of kissing and happily ever afters.
But I haven’t found much of that in my real life—the kissing or the HEA.
All that changes when I finish writing my next best-seller.
I go out to celebrate but find myself being whisked away to the emergency room.
The firefighter/EMT accompanying me to the hospital is dreamier than any hero I could ever imagine.

As we spend time together, I want her more and more.
