Steele Away
(2026)(The fourth book in the Hill and Steele Cozy Mystery series)
A novel by Sharon Griffith and Leanne Tyler
It’s summer and hot in Carey. The county fair is coming soon and Books and Brews is doing well. Until Kathy and Clyde, on a lunch date, are called to Dan Moses’ farm. There is a dead body with a cloven hoof print on its forehead and the sheriff is sure Blue Belle, Dan’s llama, is to blame. After Blue Belle is arrested, Dan asks Kathy and Sunny to prove her innocence and they are soon looking for clues.
When Frannie’s pig disappears, followed by Kathy’s bees, and Dan’s remaining llamas, they're sure more than murder is going on in the area. They go undercover at the Barber County Fair only to learn missing animals and murder are a dangerous combination.
Can they find the missing animals, the real killer, and exonerate Blue Belle, or will the sheriff get his way, and convict the llama for murder?
Genre: Mystery
