Timmy Dowd was only thirteen years old when he and his father stepped from the barn with buckets of milk in their hands. Three men rode up asking where Jakob kept the money, he had just gotten for selling a hundred head of cattle and fourteen horses.
“Bank was closed, so you brought it home.”
“Y’all was paid for your work! You go straight to hell and get off my property!”
“Is that money worth dyin’ for old man?”
“To me it is.”
Red shot Jakob Dowd and all three men turned their guns on Timmy. “Yer next boy, where’s it at?”
That happened two years ago, and Timmy Dowd was now mighty fast with his dad’s forty-five. At fifteen years old, now was the right time for young Timmy Dowd to get revenge and go hunting those three men that killed his dad.
