This story is the tale of a possible dark future in the great United States of America. It is not a bright future that is filled with promise but an ugly future that is only filled with despair. It follows three different groups of characters in different areas of the country and with different backgrounds. Each has their own trials and tribulations as this once great nation changes in dramatic and disconcerting ways.
Note: This story is dark and far from being uplifting. It gives a very bleak look into a possible future that none of us would want.
At first I was not going to publish this story because of its dark nature but then decided that the future might not be all roses like portrayed in most of my stories and the stories of other authors in this genre.
As always in my stories there is no foul language or sex though there is some violence.
My stories are not long and only meant to provide an afternoon or evening of reading enjoyment.
