House on the Hill

(2017)
A novel by

The locals wondered about the new house that was built up on the hill and could just barely be seen from the road. They waited in vain to meet the new neighbors. Lucas built the house of his dreams and was determined to stay there alone and have as little contact with other people as possible. He couldn’t imagine ever inviting another into his new home. Lucas thought troubling times were ahead and that played a big part in the house design and the location he picked for it. That and the fact that he wanted as little contact with other people as possible. He hoped if something catastrophic ever did happen he could just stay home and ride it out, alone.
As always in my stories, there is no foul language or explicit sex though there is some violence.

My stories are only meant to provide an afternoon or evening of reading enjoyment. I hope you find enjoyment with this one.
