Colorado was a half-breed, suffering the scorn of the apaches and the whites. When he killed in self-defence he knew his life would never be the same, and leaving the safety of his parents' ranch herode the land alone. When he was tested he was not found wanting,and many had reason to be grateful that Colorado had in him the stuff of legend, which elevated him to that select company - The Courageous Breed.
