All That Glitters
(2026)(Book 15 in the On Astral Tides - From Humble Freelancer To Astral Emperor series)
A novel by Ship Teaser
The glittering lights illuminate both fair dreams and foul schemes alike…
After having picked up a new, fiery ally, Akio, Hinata and their companions travel onwards to South Africa, where they believe a fellow Norse Chosen has perished, aiming to retrieve Yggdrasil’s precious seeds.
On arrival in Cape Town, they meet an old friend, and new foes, as South Africa and the surrounding countries are a boiling cauldron of troubles and conflict, the rumoured King Midas at the heart of it all.
Yet it is not the overt acts of aggression which are the true danger, but the webs of plots and schemes hidden under the glitz and glamour of the galas and balls the wealthy and influential throw.
Meanwhile, back in Japan, the charity concert reveals a different sort of glittering wonder, bringing a nation together, and offering respite for the beleaguered companions Akio has left behind.
…so while some bask in gleaming leisure, others shall be strangled by hidden webs of golden silk!
