I’ve made it no secret that my twin’s ex-wife is my least favorite person.
Just when my brother is finally happy, having reconnected with his long-lost love, I get a call. Kennedy’s had an accident, and the hospital thinks I’m her emergency contact.
But nothing could have prepared me for walking into that room to find she’s not only mistaken me for Cole, but that her brain has been wiped of the past few years of memories and she believes the two of them are still married.
My conscience is screaming that it’s wrong to play along, but I’ll do anything to keep Cole from getting sucked back into her drama.
Living under the same roof as ‘husband and wife,’ I see a new side of Kennedy and quickly realize I had no idea what had been going on behind closed doors.
And if falling for my identical twin’s ex while pretending to be him wasn’t complicated enough, she tells me she’s pregnant.
How can we have a future, start a family together, when our entire relationship is built on a lie?
*D-Man Deception is the third book in the San Diego Surf Hockey series, but can be read as a standalone.
Genre: Romance
