The Valley of Angustias

Luis Gonzalo, fresh out of college in 1964, is looking for work in his small town in central Puerto Rico - Angustias. The only thing available is the investigation of a brutal beating. He hasn't been on the job a full day before there's another beating in town, then another and another. Soon someone starts offering to protect the citizens of Angustias at a price, and Luis gets suspicious. Can he get to the bottom of these beatings before anyone gets killed?
