Haunting Refrain

A parapsychology experiment in the South Carolina Piedmont turns into a nightmare when photographer Kate McGuire sees a murder. Aside from her eccentric friend Venice, a complication all by herself, no one takes her seriously except the murderer, who takes her very seriously. The recurring vision of the murdered woman compels Kate to find the murderer, and her distrust of the press causes her to clash with the one person who can help her--a reporter who gets her deeper into trouble.
