The Legendary Loot Shop of Solshire

(2026)
A novel by

A merchant’s shop where the only thing more legendary than the items for sale are the people you find there.

Callum inherited three things from his famous adventurer grandad: a bunch of crazy magical loot, and the deed to a small shop in the seedy part of town, and the ability to dream big. He isn’t cut out for the adventuring life, but he’s really good with people, so he decides to join the Merchants Guild and become the proprietor of a loot shop.

It’s not all fun and games, he doesn’t get his full inheritance until he levels up in the guild so he’s got to make a name for himself through his own efforts. That means doing quests for the guild, helping solve peoples’ problems, and cultivating happy and loyal customers.

Nosey guild inspectors, novice adventurers in over their head, black market rogues, and grizzled veterans far past their prime are the sort of people who find their way through his doors, and however beleaguered they are when they arrive, they will leave happy.

Before long, Callum will own the most legendary shop in all of Solshire.
