Six people receive a letter offering them £20,000 in exchange for spending one night in the infamous House on Tawney Lane.
The letter includes details about their lives, persuading them that the writer knows them. They’re all short of money, and accept the invitation, but when they arrive there the host is nowhere to be seen.
Gradually, the guests discover they have things in common, including a shared guilt over their past behaviour towards a certain woman.
As they learn more about the house and their connection to it, a vengeful ghost starts to awaken and a fear grows in them that they have been brought here to die. Desperately, they seek a means of escape. Will anyone survive the night?
