(2025)
(The fourth book in the Thresholder series)
A novel by

Perry stepped through another portal with his guns at the ready and sword drawn, only to find a planet at peace. The cities are filled with festivals and gardens, the people have their every need met by a stable government, and there's no conflict left to speak of — except for two small island kingdoms far away, embattled and ready to crumble. One of the monarchs has been assassinated, ushering in a change of regime, and the other can't be far behind. Perry quickly finds himself on his way to the site of the last conflict this world has left, certain that the enemy thresholder is there.

But high above, a different conflict is brewing. The crew of the
SS Farfinder have been traveling the multiverse for a very long time, hoping to find a way to return, and they've been on Perry's trail for the last few worlds, watching him. To bring the multiverse together, they're going to need a thresholder. They've chosen Perry to be their man, and the fate of the multiverse might rest on their judgement.
