Apparitions of You

I watch her from the shadows like a phantom in the night. I'm the soft whisper in her ear that tells her she's mine.

But in the light, I'm a rock god wrapped in leather and sin, a voice behind a mask that could drag you to hell or make you beg for heaven. I shouldn't even bother to chase her—but still, her darkness calls to mine. I’m not afraid to be dangerous.

And I always get what I want.

But with her blatant denial so scorching, I’ll have to lead her to believe I’m not even there. No matter what she thinks, she’ll never escape my presence. I’ll do whatever it takes to have her, to hold her, and to keep her forever.

She will accept me and she will learn…
