The Lord Protector

Following other successes on Portugal's Algarve, Chris Metcalfe and his 'Algarve Squad' are asked to look into a protection racket which is affecting British ex-pats, and which is suspected to be run by Brits. This leads the team into investigating a wealthy Portuguese businessman, an English aristocrat, a high-profile call-girl and places DS Alicia Fearns in danger. Also, Chris Metcalfe meets his friend Tenente Jorge Alvaro's sister, a Lawyer named Anna....
