Cannon for Hire

In the autumn of 1897, men flock to the wild Yukon Territory, searching for gold. But Tom Cannon, a one-time cavalry officer, has a different reason for making the hazardous trek north. Hired to find Emmet Lawrence - a greenhorn who'd disappeared seeking his fortune - Cannon searches the icy wastes and snow-capped mountains and draws a blank. No one remembers Lawrence, or knows his whereabouts. Then something happens that Cannon hasn't allowed for - Emmet Lawrence comes looking for him...
