When true crime author Emily Fox invites a celebrity defense lawyer to speak to her writing class, the day takes a chilling turn. After a heated confrontation during the lecture and a suspicious fellow diner hiding behind a laptop during lunch, the day goes downhill fast when the attorney collapses in a ski gondola and doesn’t survive.
