The kid is angry and tough to get through to, but he is smart, which surprisingly brings out a greater need for help than he expected.
Violet has a tough job covering a large rural area and several small towns while managing a hectic foster child roster. Max continues to be the one she has great hope for, but the boy keeps running away. When she sees him with Asher, though, something falls into place. Now she is trying to convince the temporary technology manager to be the influence to change Max’s life while not allowing herself to fall for him in turn.
