Things don’t go as planned after meeting up with the local postmaster and soo, this fish out of the water, feels a pull toward the family and community for a final sense of belonging.
Kinsley has always felt loved and secure despite losing her mother during her birth. She and her father are best friends, and to this day, are the center of each other’s routines. The moment she meets Silas, she can’t get a feel for him, but there is something that her father sees in the quiet, odd man. As Silas begins to develop programs for building now going up at the edge of town, the amount of time they see and talk with each other expands and a relationship begins to develop between them.
