Jonathan Hunt came to London hunting a killer. Instead, he found a city protecting monsters.
Two months after the man who murdered his family vanished into the Adriatic, the former CIA operative is broken, drinking, and running out of leads—until a chance encounter with Ben Grimm, a lethal former SAS soldier, gives him a new hunt.
Grimm’s brother, a high-profile prosecutor, has been kidnapped after uncovering an encrypted ledger containing the names, accounts, and secrets behind a massive human-trafficking empire. Now the kidnappers want the ledger back, corrupt police are closing ranks, and two of the most dangerous men in London are about to start kicking down doors.
But the deeper Jonathan and Grimm go, the uglier the conspiracy becomes—and somewhere inside a city where killers wear badges and innocent lives are bought and sold, an army of powerful people will do anything to keep the Grim Ledger buried.
