(The first book in the Vidar series)
A novel by

Freja, named after her Norse ancestors and raised by her brothers after the death of her parents, is pulled across a magical barrier to another world by unseen powers. Landing in a world that she would expect to read about in story books, she finds herself in the middle of a war. One filled with magic. A magic that she suddenly holds in the palm of her hands.
Andrei prides himself as leader of the elite unit of warriors called the Vidar. Leading his brothers in arms has always been fulfilling, but now, war is at hand and the lives of many are at stake if he fails.
When a strange woman is brought before him, he doesn't know what to make of her. She's not from this world, and she carries with her magic that has been absent from their world for many years. He wants to deny her, wants to hate her, but there is something there that forces him to look deeper. Trusting her might be the only way to save his world, but can he set aside the emotions she stirs in him to focus on the war and not the way his heart and body react when she's around?
With an enemy that moves in shadows and appears at will coming after them, and evil descending on their world, he finds Freja is the good that will counter the bad, and with her magic, her goodness, and her love, she might be just what they need to win the war and possibly, heal his heart.
Together with his team and friends made along the way, they head off to try to save Pomastia and save it from destruction.
