Cool-headed businessman Sonny Macintosh finds a world of trouble all packaged up for him in the form of the feisty Kitty Cromarty when he ventures to Primrose Island to sort out the legalities on the parcel of land his grandfather has bequeathed him.
There are all sorts of clauses and complexities attached to the rugged, coastal land because Kitty Cromarty’s grandfather and his grandfather jointly owned it – and jointly bequeathed it.
And now Sonny and Kitty each own a fifty per cent share of the place.
But while Kitty’s been merrily throwing pots and glazing mugs from her ceramics studio there for years – Sonny has not, until now, ventured out to the island to see what all the fuss is about.
And fuss is the word, Sonny soon realises.
Because Kitty Cromarty’s cottage is smack bang in the middle of the stretch of land he wants to develop – and she’s refusing point-blank to sell it to him.
It’s an inconvenience.
But that’s all it is… After all, the woman’s hardly going to win.
Not the land – and certainly not his heart.
