They opened a tomb and it was like a nuclear bomb that granted wishes.
It’s been two months since they opened a 12,000-year-old tomb and changed the entire world into a magical apocalypse. 999 out of every 1000 people vanished overnight leaving the rest to fend for themselves, or worse: be changed into magical monsters.
Jeff was an office drone when everything changed, and he became one of the few beings capable of fighting the orcs, monsters and demons: a full-on elven wizard. Girls who never noticed him before like the hot barista at the coffee shop and the drop-dead office intern are suddenly his main squeezes. And his evil dipsh*t boss who became an orc warlord suffered a slight case of being crushed to death by the building Jeff dropped on him.
But nothing is ever easy, especially when you’re dating a goblin whose love language is stealing things and an elven sorceress who seems to be ‘heating up’ both magically and in the bedroom. Along with his girls Morgan and Paige, Jeff has settled in as the leader of the community inside a store for semi-disposable Swedish furniture and is contacting other pockets of survivors in the slowly transforming city, starting with ‘Freetown���. With a name like that, it’s gotta be safe, right?
Things aren’t as they seem in Freetown though, and it’s a bad enough place already. Rival gangs are in control and the only one willing to help him is the erotic dancer with a love of snakes who runs the local bar. Jeff’s magical quick draw is the only thing that’ll keep him alive as both sides are gunning for him. On top of that, people keep vanishing into what used to be the high-end underground shopping arcade that the locals now call the ‘Chopping Mall’.
And all that’s before Jeff finds something he never imagined in the Chopping Mall: a secret that could wipe out everyone he loves, along with the entire city.
One thing’s for sure, if he’s going to fix this, Jeff’s gonna need a new set of wheels.
