For as long as I’ve been Young Decay’s guitarist, the stage has been my home—an addicting, collective pulse fueling the darkest parts of me. Off the stage, I’m constantly searching for that same exciting rush. There isn’t much that compares.
Until a pop-up concert on New Year’s Eve has me believing maybe I’m wrong.
I couldn’t take my eyes off of her the entire night. But by the time we wrap up the gig, she’s nowhere to be found.
Then a video pops up on my phone that changes everything.

One problem. Her boyfriend? He’s my bandmate’s doula.
And my high school rival.
I can’t forgive him for what he did back then, but I won’t let our rivalry mess up what I could have with her. Now that she’s within my reach, I don’t want to let her go.
Heading out onto our Serial Nightmare tour, the band is actively trying to avoid another disaster. We can’t afford another PR screwup. All we want is for one tour to go right.
