What happens if we let go of what we think should be and instead embrace What Could Be?

List-making overachiever Brynn Easton’s full life is on track. She has a childcare job she loves, a sweet (but workaholic) boyfriend, and is thriving in nursing school—great on the surface, but deep down she questions whether her life plan is what God is calling her to.

Single father Josh Davis rededicated himself to Christ after the birth of his son, but forging relationships as a believer has been a challenge. He's avoided dating and friendships come with their own troubles, especially when he befriends his son's afterschool teacher. Brynn draws him in like no one else, but she's young and unspoiled and, well, he's not.

As their friendship grows, both Brynn and Josh must look beyond past choices and pain to determine what it truly means to walk in God’s will for their lives—especially when finding love and forever doesn’t look like they think it should.

What Could Be is Jaycee's debut novel, first published in 2017. It has since been shortened and edited for re-release as a prequel to the Everyday Love series. Each can be read standalone and there's no cheating, profanity, or bedroom scenes.

Definitely recommend for its sweet romance, realistic histories of the main characters, and overall encouraging content. Didn’t want to stop reading, and the descriptions of New Mexico kinda made me want to live there - ha! Well done. –Katy, Amazon review ★★★★★
