Dreams don't come true, but nightmares do.

Zeke's poor judgment with his last dreamwalker student resulted in a fatal catastrophe the Somnium is still struggling to conceal. So when his employers in the covert organization require him to mentor the next new dreamer who shows up on area scans, neither Zeke nor his team is sure that's the right move.

They're even less sure when they meet the neonati whose nightmares created a swarm of murder-thirsty vampires. Maggie is powerful, frightened and wary and has the potential to be a dreamwalker instead of just a dreamer. What's worse, she has a rare tangible bond with Zeke after a single encounter in the dreamsphere. Tangibles mimic intimacy where none exists and can blind a mentor to weaknesses in a neonati's psychological balance. This potent, overpowering attraction to a student already fooled Zeke once.

A dreamer like Maggie requires careful handling if she, her mentor and lots and lots of oblivious civilians are going to survive. But first Zeke and his team have to convince her she's not dreaming.

Warning: Title contains lots of cussing, pop culture references and monsters with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

NOTE
This novella was previously published by a small press and this is a reissue by the author. It has not been substantially altered. Also, it is definitely a novella, not a novel.
