Four women. One family business. And a shoreline that is giving up secrets someone meant to bury.

Clara Miller has spent her life trusting what can be measured.

As the lead tide analyst for her family’s century-old coastal survey firm, she knows the waters surrounding Harrow’s Cove better than almost anyone. So when the currents begin behaving in ways that should be impossible, Clara assumes there must be a problem with the equipment.

There isn’t.

Then a collapsing stretch of shoreline exposes an old granite survey marker that appears on none of the town’s official maps. And deep in the company archives, Clara finds a damaged tide table from 1978, with an entire column deliberately removed.

Someone changed the record.

While Clara searches for answers, she is quietly facing a truth of her own: a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis that threatens the fierce independence she has built her life around. The last person she wants watching her struggle is Frank ‘Stretch’ Stroker, the coastal engineer who left Harrow’s Cove twenty-five years ago after breaking her heart.

But Frank may be the only person who can help Clara understand what is happening beneath the water.

Because the tide is shifting.

The past is surfacing.

And Clara is beginning to suspect her own family knew why.
