I met a wild dragon.
Her name is Storm.
She hatched in a hurricane.
The wind tried to pull her away, but she was stronger.
Somehow, that doesn’t surprise me.
The way she emerged from the water left me breathless.
Broad-shouldered, wide-hipped, a tattered dress clinging wetly to her frame.
Then she dove back in, leaving barely a ripple to indicate she’s been there at all.
But she has.
I know it from the way my pulse is thundering in my ears.
From the way my dragon is roaring at me to give chase…
From the way my skin is tingling with electricity from the lightning bolt of her kiss.
She left me with one purpose and one purpose only: find her.
And claim what’s mine.
