Bella Darcy is on the run.

The eldest daughter of Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy has had quite enough of estate books and being told what her future ought to look like. So Bella does the unthinkable: she leaves Pemberley and heads for Cornwall in search of the one relative she suspects might understand: her rebellious Aunt Lydia.

Now widowed and living near Falmouth, Lydia has built a life far removed from the one her family once expected of her. Bella arrives hoping for freedom and adventure. What she finds instead is George Harwood, a retired naval commander who has no intention of encouraging a runaway heiress with romantic notions about either. Unfortunately for George, Bella is not easily discouraged, and his efforts to keep her out of trouble become increasingly complicated when suspicious activity along the Cornish coast draws them together.

A swoony, funny, low-angst and closed-door historical romance. This is a Pride and Prejudice continuation for readers who want more of the Darcy family. Expect a next-generation love story, a guaranteed happily ever after, plenty of time with a still very much in love Elizabeth and Darcy, and appearances from other much-loved characters from the original novel.
