One is chasing a dream. The other is learning to dream again.
Maynor
For years, it’s just been me and my dog, Alice. Quiet mornings. Steady routines. A life that made sense after everything I lost. Then after a field trip to a professional hockey game, Evan shows up, all charm and chaos, looking at me in a way that makes the ground shift. The rules I’ve lived by don’t seem so fixed anymore. And the more time I spend with him, the more I realize this isn’t just a detour—it''s something real. Something that makes me feel alive again in ways I didn’t think were possible.
Evan
Hockey has always been my plan—a career built on discipline and sacrifice. Falling for a pee wee assistant coach? Definitely not part of it. But Maynor is steady where I’m restless, grounded where I’m always chasing the next thing, and somehow he makes me want a life that isn’t constantly in motion. Between volunteering with the Sharks, a schedule that keeps pulling me away, and feelings I didn’t see coming, I’m starting to realize the biggest risk I’ve ever taken might not be on the ice… but letting myself have something real.
Holes & Goals is a sweet and spicy hockey novella featuring, age gap, a goofie professional goalie, a dog dad, plenty of pining, and cameos from Darius and Harry from Peaches & Pucks.
Genre: Gay Romance
