Sadie Alden has been invited to the South Coast to investigate a murder and it’s a welcome change of pace given the chaos of the past few weeks.
Hope Falls is a small town at the bottom of the main island, isolated by the cliffs that surround it and unwelcoming to outsiders. Sadie’s familiar tries to warn her that it won’t be all sand and sunshine, especially when they’re surrounded by murder suspects, but at least she can leave the werewolf drama behind for a couple of days.
The town is populated by those that fear magic in all forms, but something is happening in this place that sets her witch intuition on fire. What are the secrets hidden here?
