In the jungles of Central America, Marc and his co-worker, Kit Korban, are winding up a project. When Kit learns there's an Indian mound on Marc's family's ranch, she talks Marc into taking her there, mainly because she knows Marc has issues with his family that need to be resolved. But as Kit begins to peel back the layers of a very complex man, she also finds a man worth loving. The problem is convincing Marc that just because he's no blood kin he's not the outsider he's always believed himself to be.
