In the Blue Light of African Dreams

Flying with the Lafayette Squadron in 1918, Charlie Halifax, a holder of the Croix de Guerre, is shot down and badly wounded. He deserts but is recaptured and exiled into the Foreign Legion. Having escaped to Paris, he attempts to become the first man to fly non-stop across the Atlantic.
