The Ashes of Fate
(2026)(The third book in the Legend of the Trifolium Thrones series)
A novel by R V Wilbur
What is life to tell a dream to cease breathing?
After tragedy strikes on the high seas, Reginald Buxton is given a second chance at life—within the cursed kingdom of Grimoira, where all go in and none come out.
The only thing more vicious than the trees that prey upon the village are the demons that haunt his mind and mock his survival. Unable to escape either, he agrees to guard the tower said to contain danger and ruin. But when the threat inside is revealed to be a woman cursed to never feel the sun, her hope dares him to defy duty and chase the magic and love he thought only existed in stories.
Yet all is not as it seems, and when the curtain is pulled back on a darkness far greater than any could have imagined, they are both faced with an impossible fate:
He must break her curse to claim her heart…but she must break his heart to save his life.
Genre: Fantasy
