She used to lose minutes. Now she's losing days.

Dr. Dana Rowe wakes up on a Tuesday with no memory of Monday at all. No notes. No calls returned. Her car twelve miles from where she remembers parking it. For two years she's kept her mind's small failures a careful secret — logged, managed, hidden well enough to keep treating Diane Falk, the patient whose freedom depends on a jury believing Dana's account of eleven impossible sessions.

She has six weeks to get to the hearing. She may not have that long left in her own head.

The deeper Dana digs, the worse it gets. A childhood record sealed under a name that doesn't officially exist. A mother she buried twenty years ago, alive and still hiding. A stranger's kid showing the same symptoms Diane has spent eleven years learning to survive — and no idea what's happening to him. Someone was shaped for this. Dana is starting to understand it might have been her.

Then a witness turns up dead at the bottom of a stairwell, ruled an accident by people paid to rule it that way — and a man who never once raises his voice sits down next to Dana on a bench outside her own apartment to let her know, very politely, that the watching is over.

She has to walk into that courtroom and testify to something she can no longer promise is true: her own mind. And she has to do it while something patient, well-funded, and done being careful decides exactly how much more of her life it's willing to take.

Lost Time is Book Three in The Interview Series — a psychological thriller about what happens when the thing haunting you was built on purpose, by someone still watching to see what it grows into.
